As part of my Sephora VIB shopping spree, I purchased a few Bite Beauty lipsticks. They are handmade in Toronto, Canada and boasts of using natural ingredients such as organic butters and natural oils. They have been awarded with “Best in Class” by Allure Magazine in 2017 and Nylon Beauty Hit list in 2016. They are cruelty-free and Leaping Bunny certified.

The Amuse Bouche line has 39 shades and is looking to expand. The colors I purchased were:

Cayenne – Bright red
Persimmon – Intense red-orange
Radish – Deep magenta
Kimchi – Shocking pink
Sake – Dusty mauve
Sweet Cream – Muted peach
Chai – Mauve brown

These lipsticks provide highly-saturated, rich, vibrant colors. Due to its natural ingredients of omega oils and vitamins, it glides effortlessly and applies smoothly. I found it to be moisturizing on the lips and gives that creamy and non-drying feeling.

If you’re sensitive to lipsticks containing a slight “flavor”, be informed the company states they are “made with 12 edible oils…a citrus flavor made from fresh pressed fruit”. It’s pretty evident when you first apply it. For me, I didn’t find it overwhelming, but it was definitely a pleasant surprise.

One of the best features I like about this product is its long-lasting stay power. It doesn’t cake or feather. Even after eating or drinking, the least it does is keep your lips stained.

Overall, I am well pleased with my purchase. I already have one of Bite Beauty’s liquid lipstick and entirely in love with it! Let me know below if you already own Bite Beauty, which of their product lines you own (in addition to Amuse Bouche, they have liquid lipstick, crayons, pencils, lipgloss and multi stick), which color is your favorite and most importantly, your thoughts!
