The fall season is about to start, and you’re probably wondering what the fall fashion trends are this season. We listed them below, so you can be sure to hop on these trends before fall even gets here!
Check out my other blog post on fall essentials you might like to add to your closet!
Fall/Winter Trend 1: Knit Wear
This may be the most obvious fall fashion trend for the season, but this year there seems to be a special emphasis on this texture. With the constant changes in the climate recently, one can expect it may get really cold. Make sure you have a chunky knitted piece to keep you nice and warm. Whatever your preference: cardigans, sweaters, dresses, or even coordinated sets, this is always a fashionable staple.
Fall/Winter Trend 2: Corsets
You may have seen this corset trend all spring and summer. Expect it to continue for the rest of the year! This would be fun to layer underneath blazers and cardigans, but expect to see corsets in various forms: add-ons, stand-alone pieces, and even dresses.
Fall/Winter Trend 3: Maxed Out on Maxi
Spring and summer were all about the minis, so it’s no surprise that this fall and winter we’ll see more length. Length that goes all the way to the floor and even more for some, and not just for dresses or skirts but even coats and cardigans too. The added length just gives more drama for the fall and winter season.
Fall/Winter Trend 4: Oversized Blazer
We’ve seen a whole lot of blazers lately, and it looks like there’s no stopping as the temperature drops! I’m loving the oversized fit more than a fitted style. Why? Because it makes for a great layering piece over a thin sweatshirt hoodie, sweater dress, or sweatsuit set. The best part is this is a piece you probably already have in your wardrobe. In case you don’t, I’ve rounded up a good mix of neutrals and printed blazers to have this fall/winter season.
Fall/Winter Trend 5: Love Me Some Leather
Leather is a great fashion piece for fall. When I see leather, I instantly think bold and confident. They say what you wear can boost your confidence, so what better way to strut during the colder seasons than wearing your favorite faux leather jacket that exudes confidence? Take a look below to check out your favorite leather outfit. Leather pants add sass to an outfit – even if it’s paired with a casual t-shirt and sneakers.
Fall/Winter Trend 6: Caramel Tones
If you’re wondering about color tones this season, caramel tones were seen all over the catwalk. Caramel is a rich, warm color that creates a great neutral base. Wear a caramel dress, a jacket, plus boots or go for caramel top and leather pants with heels for a more boss babe vibe. However you decide to wear this color, you’re sure to impress them with this fall fashion trend!
Fall/Winter Trend 7: Bomber Jacket
Alongside leather jackets, chunky knit cardigans, and sweaters, expect to see more bomber jackets this fall/winter season. This jacket gives off a cool, collegiate vibe.
