I love prints! If you follow me on Instagram, you can see my love for all things print and pattern. Whether on a dress, a romper, a jumpsuit, or a cute set, I love the added pizzazz a print brings.
I recently posted about the 10 Fall Style Essentials You’ll Need, and if you read it, you’ll notice that most of the pieces are solid colors with different textures. I like to have the basic, no-frills essentials in solid colors, as it’s easy to pair them, especially when it comes to layering (think button-down tops, turtlenecks, jeans, and blazers). But, that doesn’t mean that prints have gone out of style. ? Yes, we love the florals of spring and the retro swirls of summer, but fall also brings along some great prints! The best part is these prints work well into the winter season too.

Leopard
Leopard print is a favorite all year long, and you can’t go wrong with this. Whether it’s a subtle print on your boots or a full-on print on that comfy sweater, leopard print is in style. It’ll give you that added class to your fall outfits.
Plaid
When you see plaid, you know fall and winter have arrived. No matter the color or style, you could never have enough plaid prints (IMHO). My fave look right now is wearing a cozy plaid flannel button-up or shacket for the weekend.
Gingham
If you fell in love with gingham this spring & summer, then you’ll be happy to know that this print continues to be a hit this fall season! Layer up your favorite gingham dress with a denim jacket and boots, and you’re set for the cooler fall weather.
Argyle
When you think of argyle, you may be reminded of the famous movie Clueless. This preppy print is back in fashion, and you’ll see them on mostly sweaters and vests. This print is versatile and can be worn with wide-leg pants for work, denim, faux leather leggings, or a skirt.
