Having lived in the San Francisco Bay Area most of my life, I describe the San Francisco fashion scene as one that is classy and sophisticated yet simple and casual. On a recent visit there, I featured my spring looks while strolling one of the neighborhoods! You can’t go wrong having San Francisco as a background!

I have a thing for Stripes
Going for comfort, this casual look is great for food tasting around San Francisco (read my post on a few affordable restaurant suggestions). This shimmery striped top is tailored and slim fit with long sleeves that can be rolled up with button cuffs. Put this look together with distressed hem skinny jeans – comfortable enough to wear all day!

When in doubt, wear denim
This 70’s-inspired jeans hug the hips, kick out at the knees, and finish with wide, figure-flattering hems. Even those who are short (I’m 5’1) can join in on this trend; be sure to get a petite size or if you have size, have it hemmed for a tailored fit. Complete the look with this ruffled sleeve top and heels. Don’t forget to accessorize with a cute hat, scarf, and this darling purse.

Continuing to channel the style of the ’70s, these denim palazzo jeans fit with a flattering high waist before loosely flaring to a wide-leg silhouette. Match with tees, button shirts, bodysuit, or ruffled-sleeve pullover top. Again, balance out the wide-leg style jeans with heels or wedges to make your legs appear longer.

All Cotton Ensemble
If you want comfort and cute, this is a look for you! The poplin top has a puff shoulder, thanks to gathered shoulder seams that form a slight balloon-sleeve outline. Very versatile to wear with jeans or with this cotton drawstring pants. Styled with an elastic waist, these pants are great as a go-to for lounging or running errands too!

Animal Print Obsession
Anyone else obsessing over animal print? Well, I must not be the only one, since this dress is unfortunately sold out! However, I have linked a few dupes you might like! A flirty leopard-spotted wrap dress is a perfect staple for your closet! Plus, who doesn’t want a waist-defining waist tie?

A friendly reminder to all: San Francisco starts and ends the day quite cool, so have a sweater or jacket at all times! Dressing in layers is key in the City!
