Not enough hours in the day to go from work to home to change for that important social event (whether it be an office outing, date night, or meeting friends for cocktails)? No worries; I got you! There are plenty of ways to update your look from day to night by adding or switching an item or two.

Walk This Way
Go from casual flats or wedges during the day to stiletto heels at night. If you’re not into heels, you can also use ankle booties, low pumps or even simple black sandals. Add some bling by choosing festive silver or gold shoes or a fabulous hot color (I’m thinking cherry red) for that extra pop! These simple changes can help elevate your look.

Make a Statement
Pearls by day; big, bold and bright at night! You’ve seen all the latest accessory trends lately – take advantage of the many statement earrings out there! Do you like beaded, fringe, tassel, or feather? How about necklaces – are you a choker, layered/multi-strand, tassel, or pendant kind-of-fashionista? Whatever you decide, don’t be afraid to shine on!

Wear it Proudly
Swap out that jean jacket or cardigan sweater in favor of a leather jacket or fitted blazer. This stylish addition makes it easier to go from desk to drinks in no time!

Grab and Go
Leave that casual straw bag or work tote behind and trade it in for a more sophisticated look by carrying a beautiful clutch for those little essentials.

Amp up the Makeup
Often folks forget this too can be a way to go from office to glam! Add more to your subtle day makeup and go for that smokey eye. Put those lashes on – it’s incredible how much this can transform your look alone! Don’t forget to contour for that sculpted look and apply your favorite highlighter for that extra glow. Pull out that dark or bright-hued lipstick and wear it with confidence!

Pump up the Volume
When it comes to hair, there are so many possibilities to change from daytime sleek to nighttime sexy! For a simple day look, braid your slightly damp hair then undo at night for those wavy locks! Wear your hair straight then add texturing spray to scrunch up that hair for volume – perfect for that oomph factor. Glam it up by curling your straight hair to get ready for that paaaarty!

With a few minor changes, you’ll be well dressed for the occasion and ready for a good time!
